Rob cut his teeth at WCRS and DDB London before working with the highly successful Blink Productions. Rob's love of business strategy was fostered while with Blink, helping them strategically to diversify and grow. After developing and launching Blinkart (Blink's photography and illustration division) Rob moved to Dentsu Europe as Business Strategy Director, to help launch, buy, rebrand, merge, sell and grow Dentsu's assets in Europe. After Dentsu's acquisition of STEAK Digital, Rob as CEO, led its rebranding as 360i London.

Teaming 16 years' experience coupled with his passion for business strategy, Rob launched The Inside Partnership with the goal to help deliver business changing models to brands who knew they needed to change but just didn't know how to do it.

CAROLINE JOHNSON

Caroline has more than 20 years' Management Consulting experience in the Marketing Services sector. Her career originally started in Advertising at Grey before taking Partner roles in leading Management Consulting firms. In 2000 Caroline joined Results International, a leading global Corporate Advisory firm as Partner to head up its Strategic Consulting practice.

Caroline founded The Clear Partnership in 2010 to specialise in Business Model Transformation for the global Marketing Services industry.  Since launch, Caroline and her team continue to develop world leading IP and proven programme methodology, advising network agencies and leading independents within the UK and US. Creating the strongest case studies for future-fit and commercially transformed agency models.

Industry veteran Tim Williams is a noted author and presenter for industry associations and business conferences worldwide. As a career marketing professional, Tim's consulting work has taken him around the world. He has worked with multinational agency networks, agency holding companies, and independent firms on every continent. 

Tim is the author of two books, is a frequent contributor to publications like Campaign, Advertising Age, Adweek, and Admap, and is a global LinkedIn Influencer, where his articles are regularly featured in LinkedIn Today.  Based on his expertise in business strategy, Tim has been interviewed by The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, The Guardian, and numerous other business publications throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia.  Before forming Ignition, Tim worked for multinational agencies in New York and elsewhere and served as president of several independent agencies in the U.S.

John has spent over 25 years leading some of the world's most famous marketing services agency brands. As President and CEO of global firms including Publicis Groupe’s SAMS, DMB&B and IMP, he gained a huge amount of experience in building, growing and managing creative businesses. 

During his eight years at Publicis Groupe he also assessed M&A potential as a buyer. This experience on both sides of the table makes John uniquely qualified to act as consiglieri and mentor to the CEOs of businesses with whom he works. 

John has built an extensive network of contacts and connections. He is able to provide access to the best specialist advice, giving the businesses he mentors every possible chance of fulfilling their ambitions.

SARA FIELDING

THE BUSINESS MODEL COMPANY/ PROGRAMME MANAGER AND DATA ANALYST

After starting her advertising career in London, Sara worked over 6 years for Leo Burnett in global account management roles in Hong Kong and Singapore. She helped establish Burnett's first China office in Guangzhou. Sara then launched Adarco Limited in Bangkok, a specialist strategic consultancy practice for the advertising and marketing sectors, while also helping to position and organise ADFEST, the largest regional creative awards that she continues to help run today. Sara returned to London to join Results International working on M&A assignments and transferred to the Strategic Consulting Practice, where she applied her commercial expertise to extend and drive value for marketing services businesses.

In 2010 Sara set up The Clear Partnership with Caroline Johnson. Her ability to take financial data and translate it visually into ‘the real story behind the numbers’ to extend this into a transformed future model is unsurpassed in the industry.

NIAV GRANT

THE BUSINESS MODEL COMPANY/ SENIOR CONSULTANT IMPLEMENTATION

Niav brings 10 years of experience delivering large-scale change programmes within the marketing departments of international organisations. Beginning her career in Sony, she transformed their product training function across Europe. She then moved into the telecoms industry working with Virgin Media and thereafter transitioned into the financial services sector. Niav's experience covers development and roll-out of new platforms, tools, processes, policies and products.  Highly analytical, she engages diverse stakeholders in order to design and implement change. 

She specialises in delivering solutions that can be rolled out at scale, over different industries and geographies.  


Darren Thomas

DARREN THOMAS

Darren has spent 17 years working in UK advertising agencies. From Account Executive to Managing Director, from independent start-up to large networked agency and everything in between. His experience spans most categories and all channels. Darren's work has driven culture, pushed boundaries and been awarded for creativity and effectiveness at the highest levels.

He is a business developer and leader of change, having recently delivered the complex operational and strategic restructure of the Leo Burnett Group.

Darren's focus now is on helping others with the demands of their own change programmes.

EMILY HICKS

THE BUSINESS MODEL COMPANY / BUSINESS AND ENGAGEMENT MANAGER

In addition to managing operations for Ignition as Business Manager, Emily also plays the role of Engagement Manager, working directly with clients to organize the logistics of major projects and consulting engagements. Emily honed her skills in the advertising and marketing business at Williams & Rockwood (now Richter7) and later at R&R Partners. She is also a past board member of the Utah Advertising Federation.
